Issue of Missing Axis Rulers in Tableau Desktop
This issue occurs when the header display for the column shelf is hidden.
There is an issue in Tableau Desktop where axis rulers on the column shelf (X-axis) do not appear in a dashboard when the header display for the column shelf is turned off in the sheet. However, this issue does not occur when navigating to the sheet itself or when publishing to Tableau Server, so you can simply ignore it if no additional action is required.
If you want the axis rulers to display correctly in Tableau Desktop, you can easily resolve the issue by increasing the thickness of the axis rulers by one level.
